今日は、モデルハウスにて土壁のセミナーを開催した。石膏ボードではなく、杉の木に土を塗る構法は、とても環境にやさしく、そこで暮らす人の健康にも良い仕上げである。今日はそんな構法について６０分ほどのセミナーを行った。終了後は、実際に土を塗る体験会を行った。講師は小沼充さんであるが、なんと他にも左官屋さんが混ざっていたようで、その方にも指導役をお勤めいただき楽しいひと時を過ごした。挑戦した方々は皆、左官の素人である。土壁は土と藁と砂だけを混ぜた天然素材なので、安心して作業していただくことができた。Today we held a seminar on earthen walls at a model house. The lecturer was Mitsuru Conuma, but it seems that there was also a plasterer in the group, who also acted as instructor, and we had a great time. All of the people who tried it were novices at plastering. Earthen walls are a natural material made from a mixture of only soil, straw, and sand, so they were able to work with peace of mind.
